MEET THE ARTIST(S)
Mark met Pika in 2019, together they’ve been hiking up the hills ever since.
Mark loves the tranquility and drawing the scenery. Pika loves the smells and messin’ in the mud.
On a good ramble they find a spot to relax, each in their own way. Mark takes photos and makes sketches of the landscape. Pika eats whatever she can get her paws on.
Each illustration you see started life as pencil & pen on paper before the pair head home to scan their work into the iPad.
Once cozy and warm Mark digitally hand-paints over the sketches to create these striking, colourful illustrations.
Why all the bright colours? Why not?
Rambling helps us feel adventurous so I aim for the artwork do the same.
