ULLSWATER & SHEFFIELD PIKE GREETING CARD - A6

All cards feature scene information on the back.

Ullswater is a glacial lake and the second largest lake in the region by both area and volume, after Windermere. It is a typical Lake District "ribbon lake", formed after the last ice age by a glacier scooping out the valley floor, which then filled with meltwater.

Looking down on the lake stands Sheffield Pike with an elevation of 675 m (2,215 ft). Although the origins are unknown it is thought that the original name was something like Sheepfold Pike, and that the pronunciation became corrupted over time.

This scene faces south west across the lake onto Sheffield Pike. The solo peak in the distance and to the far left of the scene is Catstye Cam, an outlier of Helvellyn.

All greeting cards are blank inside so that you can personalise them with your own message.

Printed directly onto white, smooth, matt, 300gsm card, these matching greeting cards have a softer colour finish than the archival prints.

Two colour options available -

GOLDEN - yellows, reds, oranges

EARTH - greens, blues, purples & pinks

Colours displayed on your monitor may vary slightly to the printed design.
