'Experience The John Rylands Library as you’ve never seen it before in a promenade performance that explores love and hierarchies, past and present. Using the traditional 16th century Italian comedy form of Commedia Dell’Arte, the Library is brought vividly to life'.

 

La Biblioteca was a Commedia Dell’ Arte inspired piece presented by Contact Theatre, Dende Collective and The University of Manchester. The work was performed in the historic John Rylands Library throughout August 2013 by the Contact Young Actors Company (CYAC). Mark worked on the project as both Assistant Artist to Tom Hogan (Aqueous Humour/Loud and Proud Arts) and Assistant Director & Writer to Andre Pink of Dende Collective, collating, building on and editing the words of CYC.
