Jerry is a mid-level office worker with an arrogant overbearing boss, a flaky on/off girlfreind and an unusual cactus which happens to be his best friend. After cactus overhears an answer-macine message from Jerry's girlfriend, cactus suddenly has the upper hand and uses his new knowledge to get everything he's ever wanted; attention, love and water!
